About Us
Vallejo City Unified School District (VCUSD), a proud educator of nearly 9,000 students in the City of Vallejo, is a diverse district comprising 20 schools. This includes two comprehensive high schools, each offering a wide range of educational opportunities, an alternative school, an adult school, and one independent charter. With nearly 1,200 dedicated teachers and staff, VCUSD is one of the largest employers in the city.

Nearly 600 eighth graders gathered at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for VCUSD’s 6th Annual Kaiser Permanente Empower Youth Summit.
VCUSD announces its 49th Annual Special Olympics for Friday, May 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Corbus Field (840 Nebraska St.).
