About Vallejo City
Unified School District
Our mission at VCUSD is clear: to meet our students and their families where they are and provide them with a high-quality, enriching educational experience. We aim to unlock every student’s potential and connect with their passions, laying a robust foundation for a productive and fulfilling future along their chosen path. This vision encompasses all our students, from the youngest early learners to our high school seniors, guided by the VCUSD Strategic Plan.
Our Schools
Vallejo City Unified School District includes seven child development centers/preschools, one adult school, 15 elementary and K-8 schools, one middle school, and three high schools. The District also has a Virtual Academy for grades K-12, an Independent Study Academy for grades 6-12 and an adult school. Learn more about our schools!
