On July 1, 2024, Rubén Aurelio took over as superintendent of the Vallejo Unified School District, bringing with him a wealth of educational experience and a track record of success.
Aurelio's commitment to education is evident in his diverse roles and responsibilities across various school districts. Before assuming the role of superintendent for the Vallejo Unified School District, he served as the superintendent of the St. Helena Unified School District, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. He is highly regarded for his achievements at St. Helena Unified, particularly his improvement of academic outcomes and his fosterment of strong community relations and collaborations.
