Warehouse

The Vallejo City Unified School District warehouse team excels in receiving, storing, and delivering food, supplies, and essential materials to all our school sites and departments. Additionally, the team handles E-WASTE pickup, manages mail services, and oversees AssetMaxx operations, ensuring seamless support across the district.

Equipment Tracking Procedures

School districts have the responsibility to effectively manage and safeguard the district’s assets and resources in order to help achieve the district’s goals for student learning.

VCUSD utilizes AssetMaxx and Incident IQ software to help track and manage our assets. Equipment is an item with a useful life of more than one year and an acquisition cost of $500 or more.

District/Site Responsibility

Once asset-tagged equipment items are delivered from the district warehouse to schools or departments, it is the site or department’s responsibility to utilize Incident IQ for any location or personnel changes associated with the asset-tagged item.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please email sgeringer@vcusd.org.

Mail

Postage

Postage for all mail will continue to be done here at the District Office. Please continue to send sealed mail that requires postage to the District Office.

Mailing jobs requiring printing, envelope stuffing and sealing will need to be requested through the SCOE Print Shop. Once those envelopes are delivered to VCUSD's Warehouse, they will be postage stamped and go out in the mail.

Bulk Mail

Bulk mail is defined as 200 pieces of mail or more of identical weight. All bulk mail must have printed permit information on the envelope that can be printed through SCOE using the Reprographics page link.

Sending mail using bulk mail saves the district money. If you are unsure if a mail job would qualify as bulk mail, please email mailroom@vcusd.org
