Trustee John Fox

Trustee John Fox was elected in 2022 to the Vallejo City Unified School District Board of Education for his second four-year term. 

Fox, who is currently a third-grade teacher at the Mt. Diablo School District, has been an elementary school educator for more than 25 years. He has also served as a reading intervention and program specialist in the education system. 

When he is not teaching, Fox is very active in the community. He is the president of the Solano County School Board Association, president of his HOA, a board member of the Glen Cove Community Association, and the vice-chair of the Stonewall Democrats of Solano County. He is also a member of the Central Democrats of Solano County, where he was named the Southern Democrat of the Year in 2021. 

A native Michigander, Fox earned his bachelor’s of art in liberal studies from Sonoma State University and his administrative credential from St. Mary’s College.

Fox is single and lives in Vallejo with his two dachshunds dogs, Otto and Theo. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with friends, walking, hiking and gardening.
