Welcome Back Message from Jesse Bethel Principal Wollenweber

  • Good Morning JBHS Family,

We hope you all are enjoying your summer! We look forward to welcoming you all back for the 2022-23 school year. Our orientation dates and times have been set as the following:

    9th-grade Orientation: August 10, 9:00-12:00, JBHS Gym
    10th-grade Orientation: August 11, 9:00-12:00, JBHS Gym
    11th-grade Orientation: August 11, 12:30-3:00, JBHS Gym
    12th-grade Orientation: August 12, 9:00-12:00, JBHS Gym

All students will need to attend their scheduled orientation time. During this orientation, students can take their school I.D. photos, check out their textbooks and Chromebooks for the year, and receive their class schedules. Incoming 9th graders will also receive information about JBHS programs and activities and will have a campus tour.

Before attending the orientation, we need all returning families to complete the registration process on the AERIES Parent Portal.  Parents, you will need to log in to the portal and update the Emergency Card information for your student. This helps us ensure we have all of the current and correct information on file to get a hold of you. If you need help logging into the portal or navigating through the portal, please watch the video tutorial attached:

This update must be completed before your student's orientation date.

For brand new students to Vallejo City Unified, you will need to complete a full registration packet that can be found on the JBHS or VCUSD website under the "enroll" tab. Once you have completed the paperwork on the website, our registrar will contact you to come in and finish the registration process, and your student will be enrolled in classes.

Our first school day for students this year will be on Monday, Aug. 15, beginning at 8:30 a.m. We will send out our new bell schedule and post it to our JBHS website soon.

We are excited for another great year with you all at JBHS! Enjoy the last few weeks of your summer vacation!
