Beginning Computers for English as a Second Language (ESL)

  • This course is focused on developing digital literacy skills using a Windows computer, improving vocabulary, and improving your keyboard speed. 

    Topics include:

    • Using a mouse and keyboard
    • Windows desktop features
    • Antivirus software
    • Email
    • Safe computing
    • The internet and how to use it 
    • Basic troubleshooting
    • Google Drive/Docs

Citizenship Preparation

  • This course is for students who want to learn the English vocabulary and information necessary to prepare for the citizenship examination and process. Students need to speak, read and write intermediate-level English to participate in citizenship classes.

Assessment Test Schedule for Registration

  • Monday through Thursday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

    Monday through Wednesday evenings from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

     

Childcare Services

    • Child care is available for the children of the adult parent or legal guardian student attending class.
    • Only children ten years old or younger are permitted.
    • Birth certificates and vaccination records are required on the first day of school.
