Introduction to Commercial Culinary
In partnership with participating Solano County restaurants, the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce, and the Workforce Development Board of Solano County, the Vallejo Adult School is hosting an Introduction to Commercial Culinary course. Learn about the introductory basics of working in a commercial kitchen, taught by a fully-credentialed, experienced chef. Topics include basic knife skills, kitchen layout, culinary equipment, operation safety, and sanitation.
No cost to enroll, but spaces are limited. If the class is full, you will be placed on a waitlist.
Three-week session starting July 10 - July 26, 2023. Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This is not a cooking class for personal enrichment. Students will interview for a potential job placement with local restaurants at the end of the four-week course.
