Intra-District Transfers

Intra-District Transfers

An intra-district transfer refers to currently enrolled VCUSD students who would like to transfer to another VCUSD school other than the one assigned to their home address. The window for intra-district transfer submissions for families impacted by closure will be Feb. 2, 2026, to Feb. 27, 2026.  The window for intra-district transfers for all VCUSD families will be from March 2, 2026, to March 20, 2026.

An inter-district transfer is used when families wish to enroll their student in a school district other than the one assigned to their home address. This applies to students trying to transfer into and out of Vallejo City Unified School District.
