VALLEJO, Calif. - Here are a few highlights from the June 21 special board meeting and the complete agenda packet. 

Vallejo Charter School and Vallejo City Unified School District LCAP 

The Board heard high-level highlights from the 2023-24 VCUSD and Vallejo Charter School LCAP. Vallejo Charter’s LCAP mirrors the VCUSD plan with the goals and measurements with differences due to the school’s student population needs. They will vote on adopting the LCAP document at the next Board of Education meeting on June 28. 

2023-24 Budget Public Hearing

The Board received a presentation from Chief Business Official Rosa Loza summarizing the District’s budget. The five-person governing body will vote on its adoption at the next Board meeting on June 28.
