Here are a few highlights from the June 28 board meeting and the complete agenda packet. 

VCUSD Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) Hearing

The board unanimously approved this year’s SELPA, which included the annual service and budget plan. 

Vallejo Charter School and Vallejo City Unified School District LCAP 

After hearing about the Vallejo Charter School and the VCUSD LCAP last week at a special board meeting, the board voted to approve the 2023-24 document. 

2023-24 VCUSD and Vallejo Charter School Budget 

The board received an errata regarding the 2023-24 VCUSD budget. Following the correction, the board voted to approve the district budget. They also approved the budget for Vallejo Charter School.

Meeting Held In Honor of Student

The meeting was dedicated to Dan Mini Elementary TK student Elisabeth Weiland who recently passed. The five-year-old was a member of Laura Odneal’s classroom.
