Vallejo High School’s Armed Forces Day

Vallejo High School’s annual Armed Forces Day was a great opportunity to educate students on the opportunities available in the military.

On March 13, 2024, a total of 15 representatives from the army, navy, marines, air force, coast guard, and national guard answered questions, handed out swag, and rewarded students who completed physical challenges like push ups and chin ups.

A formal presentation was held in the library where 36 students learned about what each branch has to offer. As a result of the event, 23 students signed up to take the ASVAB exam and 7 students were recruited to the navy and the marines.
